Change is not an event, but a continuous process to usher in and manage change, a leader needs unflinching dedication, unwavering commitment to the cause and inexhaustible levels of patience. Only then can change be achieved and sustained too.
If there is any example that fits all the parameters of change management, that is the State of Telangana in India. Under the legendary leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Telangana has metamorphosed into a role model for development in a short span of eight years.
People in the Telangana region suffered decades of neglect in all spheres. Post formation of Telangana State in 2014, the winds of change began blowing with the beloved leader K Chandrashekhar Rao carefully planning for the development of the State.
The naysayers were there, but in record timeframes, the fruits of development were there for everyone to see.
In a short span of eight years, the Telangana model of development has been recognized world over.
There is an imperative need to replicate the Telangana development model in other parts of the country. Our leader K Chandrashekhar Rao has time and again pointed out that there are adequate resources in the country, but these are not reaching the people.
We are bringing out this booklet to showease the unparalleled development saga, showing what was
"Telangana Then" and what is "Telangana Now".
